Cooking salmon in a sealed parchment packet is basically cheating. Everything steams together and the fish stays impossibly moist, with almost no cleanup afterward. The real gut-health hero here is the fresh ginger, which has a long track record of calming digestive inflammation, and it's joined by omega-3-rich salmon and a pile of fiber from the carrot and scallions, all working together in one neat little packet. Why This Is Good for Your Gut

Fresh ginger contains gingerol, a bioactive compound shown to reduce gut inflammation and speed gastric emptying. Salmon supplies omega-3 fatty acids that help lower inflammatory markers throughout the digestive tract, while the carrot and scallions add prebiotic fiber and inulin that feed beneficial gut bacteria.

Just one packet and almost no dishes, for a dinner that's soothing on your gut too.
